Wonnangatta Camping Ground

The Wonnangatta Camping Ground, tucked away in Victoria's Crooked River region, is a simple, remote campsite offering basic facilities including non-flush toilets and picnic tables, surrounded by the bush landscape of the Alpine National Park.

As the site is located near the Wonnangatta River, water-based activities such as fishing and swimming are popular, but drinking water is not provided, so campers need to bring their own or treat river water.

The campground has no formal sites so it is a first come first serve basis and does not cater for caravans due to the rough, unsealed access road.
