Grants Lagoon

Grants Lagoon at Binalong Bay, Tasmania, is a natural lagoon camping area, resolute with a raw, untouched beauty, marked by sandy lake shores, blue waters and local wildlife.

The campground provides basic toilet facilities, fire places and picnic tables, but lacks on-site drinking water, electricity or dump points; it's vital for travellers to come prepared.

There are also opportunities for fishing and bird-watching, thanks to the abundance of local fauna and the lagoon itself.

As this is a primitive site, camping is free but spots are on a first-come first-serve basis and can become popular during the warmer tourist seasons.
