Cockle Creek Free Camp

Cockle Creek Free Camp in Recherche, Tasmania, is situated at the southernmost point of Australia's road network, offering a basic campground near the creek with picnic tables, campfire spots, and pit toilets, but without any provision for drinking water or dump points.

The site provides access to the South Coast Track and the adjacent Southwest National Park, and while it does not have marked bays, it generally accommodates campers on a first-come-first-served basis.

Despite its remote location, the camp is not pet friendly, in accordance with the regulations of the Tasmanian National Parks and Wildlife Service.
