Hiltaba Nature Reserve, situated in Yardea, South Australia, offers a camping area that is as remote and natural as they come, with limited facilities that include basic campsites - one near the homestead and others spread throughout the reserve.
There are no bins provided, so campers must take their rubbish with them, and as for amenities, visitors should be prepared to be self-sufficient as there are no showers, toilets or drinking water available.
Campfires are permitted at the caretaker's discretion depending on the weather conditions and fire danger rating at the time; however, there are no dump points and pets are not allowed in the park in order to protect the native wildlife.
